Campbell PD: Car Break-Ins; Stolen Vehicles Found; Spitting Road Rage

TUESDAY, April 29

• Car break-in on 100 block of North Midway Street, Occurred between April 28-29. Window pried open on Ford F150, items stolen.

• Shoplifting reported: 2:43 p.m. along 700 West Hamilton Ave., sunglasses stolen; 3;10 p.m. on 2300 block of  South Winchester Boulevard, 44-year-old cited for stealing merchandise.

• Bank fraud reported on 300 bloc of Union Avenue. Woman told fraudulent activity on her checking account, and she recalled her residence was burglarized. 

• Threatening message reported along 14000 South Bascom  AVenue at 1:22 p.m.

• DUI reported 7:25 p.m. on 300 Union Avenue. Female motorist ran over concrete median, collided with several cars.

• Stolen vehicle recovered at 3:44 a.m. on 800 block Sharmon Palms Lane.

• Stolen vehicles recovered: 3:02 a.m. on 2500 S. Winchester Blvd, 1990 Acura reported stolen April 5 in San Jose; 11:12 p.m. on 800 West Hamilton Avenue, 2000 Civic stolen from San Jose April 25.
• Car break-in: window smashed 9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. on 1100 Dell Avenue.
• Vehicle reported stolen - red 1995 Corolla overnight on 1400 Theresa Ave.
• Theft from vehicle - tool bag - on 400 East Hamilton between 2 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.
  

• Two vehicle spray painted overnight on Roundtree.

• Car break-in: overnight April 26-27, window smashed,  on the 1100 block of Longfellow Avenue.

• Drug arrests 12:25 p.m. on 600 block of East Campbell: male, 47, under the influence and paraphernalia possession; woman, 53, possession of prescription drugs, probation violation.

• Domestic violence arrest of male, 42, 5 p.m. on the 800 block of Sobrato Drive.
• Theft from vehicle reported 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on 100 West Campbell Avenue. Purse stolen.
• Mountain bike reported stolen along 1800 South Bascom 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. while owner was in restaurant.

• Public intoxication arrests: male, 26, 6:40 p.m. on 2300 South Winchester Avenue; male, 22, 9:37 p.m. Campbell and Victor; male, 22, 1:38 a.m. on 1500 S. Bascom.
• Triple drug arrest: males, 29, 27, 25, on Budd at Winchester at 1:21 p.m. for allegedly planning to meet and sell oxycodone pills.
• Bicycle thefts: 12;30 p.m. on 1800 S. Bascom; on Harrison Avenue occurred April 24.
• DUI: 12:39 a.m. on 2nd and Latimer. Male, 33, arrested, allegedly crashed into parked Prius and took off on foot.
• Battery reported 12:45 p.m. on 1100 Harriet Avenue. Man spat on during road-rage incident. 

• Public intoxication arrests: male, 25, 1:43 p.m. on 1900 South Bascom Avenue; male, 31, 7:50 p.m. on 200 Union Avenue.

• DUIs: 2:15 a.m. 31-year-old Orchard City at 1st; 2;15 a.m., 28-year-old Civic Center and 2nd; 20-year-old 1:56 a.m. on 1300 block of Camden Avenue.  
• Car break-in overnight on 400 block of Salmar AVenue. Credit cards stolen from vehicle and used.
