After a short time in Middletown, Erin returned to her hometown of Ellington and took a position at the Journal Inquirer, where she worked in news, sports, and advertising, and remained until coming on board at Patch. Never being content to do just one thing, Erin continued to waitress for a while after college and freelanced for The Sports Department and a couple of private companies. Erin comes from a family where sports have always been an important part of life. If it's not being played, it's being watched. Luckily for her, Erin married a guy who loves sports as much as she does and they plan on raising their daughter to be a sports fan as well. In addition to sports, Erin also enjoys going to the gym and is developing a new-found appreciation for baking. Erin and her husband and daughter live in Ellington with their two crazy cats who they love and adore.
