All five of the schools are California Distinguished Schools and Campbell's very own Westmont High School is also a National Blue Ribbon School.</p> <p>The district's newest and sixth campus, Camden Community Day School focuses on at-risk youth.</p> <p>There are 7,700 students that attend the district from communities including Campbell, San Jose and Los Gatos.</p> <p>The district's API score for 2009-10 grew by 14 points, raising its districtwide score to 761. The state of California rates its schools on a 200 to 1,000 scale, with 800 being its benchmark.</p>

The site, which formerly housed the city's only…More high school, was purchased by the city from the Campbell Union High School District in August 1985. The majority of the recreation classes offered through the city's Recreation and Community Services Department are held at the Community Center, which is also home to the 800-seat Heritage Theatre and offers a variety of outdoor park facilities including a football stadium, athletic fields, an all-weather track, tennis and handball courts, a fitness zone and a skate park.
