I want to give a huge "CONGRATULATIONS" to all of the contestants, and especially to Madam…Read More Chair, Tretau. Anais Tretau was the Chair during the Planning Commission Apprenticeship last year, for Citizen School's after school leadership program. Miss Tretau is a natural leader and a great student. She definitely has a great future ahead of her. Madame Chair, I wish you the best in your next spelling competition. I know you'll do a great job!

I'm for more state monies going to needier schools. The disparity is too great and wrong. The state…Read More has the obligation to assure as equal an educational opportunity as possible for all in our public schools whether it is in a lower income inner city school or in a wealthy suburban school. Most of our problems in the nation's schools are in poorer schools. If we just focused on those schools it would solve many of our societal ills and make it better for all. More and better jobs, less dropouts, less crime.
