John D. Morgan Park is Campbell's largest park, at 38 acres of green, two baseball diamonds, two sets of playgrounds, a soccer bowl, horseshoe pits, tennis courts, two sand volleyball courts and a winding trail that joggers, walkers and strollers can all enjoy. It was named after former Campbell Police Chief John D. Morgan.

Bordered by San Tomas Expressway on one side, Rincon Avenue on the other, Budd Avenue and Campbell Middle School, this park has everything anyone can want.

The playground at the Rincon Avenue side is geared towards toddlers and younger children, with various play houses, a water feature, jungle gym and teeter totter. Parents can watch from the various benches and seating areas, most under ample shade.

At the Budd Avenue side, the playground is geared towards the older children, with a massive playstructure, two tubular slides and various climbing features. Two sets of swings accomodate the younger children and parents have ample amounts of seating here as well.

Morgan Park is also home to the Campbell-Moreland Pony/Colt Baseball League.

The park also has three group picnic areas available for reservation as well as public areas that are first-come, first-serve.

The rest of the park consists of green open space with various large trees providing a sense of seclusion amidst the busy expressway that borders one of the park's edges.

Editor's Note: This park is home to geese and because of that, there is a fair amount of geese leavings. Please be aware of this when choosing shoes to wear there and while in the grass.
