Legendary Member of UFO To Land In Campbell

Micheal Schenker the legendary guitarists who wrote some of the greatest hard rock songs of the 70's and 80's as a member of the prototype heavy metal band UFO brings his amazing talent and  steller song catalog to Campbell's Heritage Theater on February 13.

The temper mental guitarist who has been turning great performances since kicking drugs and alcohol in recent years is touring in support of his new album "Bridge The Gap", recorded with two original members of the Scorpions, a band Schenker served in during two different stints. Drummer Herman Rarebell and Bassist Francis Buchholz reunited with Schenker for the album with Singer Doogie White, who sang with Rainbow and Yngwie Malmsteen. Sadly the studio band will not be on the road with Schenker.

The German born guitar player had a string of on stage meltdowns punctuated by poor performances and cancelled shows, but the past three or four shows local shows have been strong showings.
