Jessica Clark, age 17

School: senior at Leigh High School

Accomplishments:

Second-degree black belt in taekwondo
Practicing martial arts for seven years
Gold medal champion in Chinese martials arts
Competitive swimmer on the Belwood Swim Team of Los Gatos for 11 years
Belt rankings in kung fu and wing chun
Gold medal in wing chun at the 2011 International Chinese Martial Arts Championships
Teaches martial arts for the in Los Gatos
Volunteers with the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe
Paints pastel portraits and stills

Key to Awesomeness:

Jessica's contributions have led the Belwood Swim Team of Los Gatos to several championships over the years, said proud mom Shaheen Clark.

At the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, Jessica works on fundraising events and contributes by fostering homeless animals, said mom.

How does she do it all? "She is a very self-driven individual, goal-oriented and always steps up to help others," mom answers.
