Mindfulness at Work: Introduction to the Potential Project Presentation

Introduction to The Potential Project Presentation
with Karuna Cayton

All are welcome!

Increasing workloads and tighter deadlines are the major challenges of today’s working life. Without effective tools to deal with that pressure the result is often emotional, mental and physiological imbalance and burnout, at work as well as at home. However, it is possible to live up to our daily challenges, and do so with clarity, kindness and happiness.

Managing our mind is the solution

Come learn how mindfulness can benefit your daily working life with The Potential Project’s distinctive program Corporate-Based Mindfulness Training (CBMT). Utilizing mind training strategies, scientific validation, and discussion, this program is designed for busy people within the work environment. While the root source of the training program is Buddhist philosophy and methods – the program is presented in a scientific and secular context of neurology and cognitive science. The mission of the Potential Project is to offer tools and techniques for participants to transform their work life into a more productive, happy and satisfying way of engaging with their daily life.

CBMT is purposely developed for the work place and has been facilitated with great results as a 4 month in-house program at organizations including General Electric, Sony Corporation, Volkswagen/Audi (Spain) and a number of banks, insurance companies and other institutions. It is specifically designed for groups of people within the workplace as well as individuals looking to integrate daily work with their spiritual practice.

We are fortunate at GGBC to host an evening with the Potential Project’s Senior Trainer Karuna Cayton.  He will discuss this unique approach of mindfulness training in the workplace.

If there is enough interest from the introduction, we will run a hybrid of the program for nine weeks.

Donations appreciated for the introduction.
