Transformer Fire Causing Sunday Morning Power Outages

Santa Clara County Fire responds to calls on Pollard and Quito Roads.

At about 10 a.m. Sunday morning, the Santa Clara County Fire Department began to receive phone calls about a pole on fire, which one of the callers described as having transformer, at Quito and Pollard Road in Campbell.

Soon after, calls began to trickle in to dispatch about lights being out in the area.

County Fire confirmed the fire and that engines were on scene. They confirmed that power outages typically follow transformer fires.
