Campbell's Parks and Recreation and Community Services Departments teamed up and put together a three-part plan for the month of July to encourage residents to be active and play at Campbell parks.

  • "Rock Your Park" and "Take 5 in July" are part of the National Recreation and Parks Association annual awareness campaign, and Campbell has adopted these themes for July Parks and Recreation Month. "Rock Your Park" encourages Americans to live healthy and play at community park throughout the month and "Take 5 in July" refers to the amount of weekends (5) in July for people to get out and "Rock" their parks.
  • "Rock Our Parks" Photo Shoot is a Tuesday, July 12 event where Campbell invites you to join the mayor and council and staff members at John D. Morgan Park at 11 a.m. for a photo shoot "to demonstrate how the Campbell community 'Rocks Our Parks,'" according to a City Council report.
