Comfortable shoes should be worn as the site is mostly dirt and gravel.

Anna Stojanovich sold the parcel on Union Avenue to the city of Campbell in 2007 on the condition that it be built into a park.

The Stojanovichs had owned it since 1934, when they grew fruit in surrounding orchards. Fruit-laden trucks would pull up to the shed that still stands on the property, the large sliding doors that now face Union Avenue would slide open, and the harvest would be unloaded.
