'Can You Hear Me Now?' Campbell Planning Commission Will Let You Know Tonight

AT&T asks to swap out existing equipment for better ones; T-Mobile wants in to better fill the gap near eBay.

Two phone companies vie for better equipment to try to answer the question, "Can you hear me now?"

At the Campbell Planning Commission meeting Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, two requests have been made, one from AT&T and the other from T-Mobile.

T-Mobile wants to fill the service gap for its customers in the area by placing six new antennas on an existing Pacific Gas and Electric Co. tower. It's at 1469 So. Bascom Ave. near the Valley Transportation Authority lightrail station, which is by the eBay campus.
