Campbell Opens Cooling Centers Through July 1

High temps prompt city of Campbell to open cooling centers at the Campbell Community Center.

According to the National Weather Service, temps will hit the 90s through Tuesday, July 2 and the city of Campbell is taking action.

Beginning today, June 28 through July 1, the city is opening cooling centers from 1-8:00 p.m. at the Campbell Community Center, 1 W. Campbell Ave.

Air conditioning will be provided but residents are encouraged to bring their own reading materials, water, snacks and other personal items. No amplified sound devices though.

The scheduled cooling rooms will be located:

  • Friday, June 28, Q-80 (Roosevelt Room)
  • Saturday, June 29, E-46 (Activity Room)
  • Sunday, June 30, E-42 (Board Room)
  • Monday, July 1, E-42 (Board Room)
