Wells Fargo on S. Bascom Robbed at Gunpoint! Employees & Customers Ordered to Ground

Two masked suspects entered bank Tuesday morning. Third accomplice drove the getaway car.

Two armed suspects robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on South Bascom Avenue Tuesday morning forcing the Campbell bank's employees and customers to the ground, police said.

Two suspects -- wearing gray beanies, black masks and carrying handguns -- entered the bank at 1790 S. Bascom at 11:08 a.m. and ordered the 25 employees and customers inside to lay on the floor, according to the Campbell Police Department.

None of the employees or customers were physically injured during the ordeal, police said.

A third suspect was reportedly waiting in a vehicle in the parking lot -- a vehicle that officers later located and determined was stolen, police said.

Campbell Police ask that anyone with information regarding the incident contact the Investigations Unit at 408-871-5190.

Those wishing to remain anonymous can also contact the Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers at 408-947-STOP (7867).

Campbell police did not release specifics on items or amount of cash stolen.
