Man Stabbed to Death Near Campbell's Hamann Park Neighborhood

The suspect in the city of San Jose's 21 homicide remains at-large.

A man was fatally stabbed Friday night in San Jose and the suspect remains at large, a police sergeant said.

Officers responded to a report of a person stabbed in the 2900 block of Magliocco Drive in West San Jose at about 9:55 p.m., Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.

When officers arrived, they found a man laying in a carport, suffering from stab wounds, Dwyer said. The man, 35, was transported to Valley Medical Center but was pronounced dead at the hospital, he said.

No suspects have been identified or arrested, Dwyer said.

Dwyer said the motive of the killing is unknown. It is unknown if the incident is gang-related, he said. The incident remains under investigation.
