  • Kiseok Lee, 41, of Cupertino, 10:43 p.m., April 19, at Homestead Road and Mary Avenue in Cupertino for two misdemeanors related to driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 and driving under the influence. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Jessica Maya, 36, of San Martin, 10:30 a.m., April 19, at the South Santa Clara County Courthouse at 301 Diana Ave., Dept. 109, in Morgan Hill, for two misdemeanors related to driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 and driving under the influence.
  • David Castillo, 25, of Campbell, 10:20 a.m., April 20, at the Santa Clara County Superior Court Hall of Justice, 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher.
  • George Vasquez, 25, of Gilroy, 10:15 a.m., April 20, at the South Santa Clara County Courthouse at 301 Diana Ave. in Morgan Hill, for driving with privileges suspended/revoked and driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher.
  • Patience Hiatt, 39, of Gilroy, 1:40 p.m., April 20, at the South Santa Clara County Courthouse at 301 Diana Ave. in Morgan Hill, for driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher.

Lewd or Lascivious Act on a Child

Meconen Kelete, 26, of Los Gatos, 11:10 a.m., April 19 at the Santa Clara County Superior Court Hall of Justice Dept. 42, 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for a felony related to a lewd or lascivious act on a child under the age of 14.

Possession

  • Renee Poole, 35, of Sacramento, 11:15 a.m., April 19, at the South Santa Clara County Courthouse at 301 Diana Ave., Dept. 110, in Morgan Hill, for one felony charge related to possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a controlled substance/paraphernalia. Bail set at $200,000.
  • Oscar Iniguez, 22, of Gilroy, 11:30 a.m., April 19, at Diana and Dillo in Morgan Hill, for a misdemeanor warrant related to possession of more than 28.5 grams or an ounce of marijuana. Bail set at $25,000. 
  • Jose Herrera Villaseno, 20, of Sunnyvale, 2:42 p.m., April 20, at Homestead Road and Bernardo Avenue in Cupertino, for felony possession of concentrated cannabis. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Julianne Quirazco, 18, of Monte Sereno, 7 p.m., April 20, at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for possession of marijuana and petty theft of personal property/larceny.

Forgery/Insufficient Funds

Casey Bronec, 18, of Cupertino, 2:10 p.m., April 19, at 1104 Milky Way in Cupertino, for two felonies related to insufficient funds when issuing checks and forgery of instrument. Bail set at $20,000.

Parole Hold/Possession of Stun Gun

Lindsay Crocker, 53, of Gilroy, 7:27 p.m., April 19, at 58 W. 7th Street in Gilroy, for felony parol hold and a misdemeanor related to possession of stun gun.

Use/Under the Influence

  • Josephine Sandoval, 52, of Gilroy, 7:27 p.m., April 19, at 8 W. 7th Street in Gilroy, for two misdemeanors related use/being under the influence of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of paraphernalia. Bail set at $16,000.
  • Vane Saecho, 53, of Oakland, 9:15 p.m., April 20 at 10840 Coyote Reservoir Road in Gilroy, for one misdemeanor related to being under the influence of alcohol/drugs/controlled substance. Bail set at $250.

Hit-And-Run

Sheila Saunders, 49, of San Jose, 8:10 p.m., Oct. 28, 2011, at 20745 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino, for a citation misdemeanor related to a hit-and-run.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • Lindsay Molina, 30, of Cupertino, 10:30 p.m., April 18, at Junipero Cerra and Calvert Drive in Cupertino, for several misdemeanor citations related to failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle, driving with license suspended/revoked, driving with privileges suspended/revoked and a suspended license.
  • Dennis Ramires Garcia, 26, of Morgan Hill, 2 a.m., April 18, at Saratoga Avenue and Prospect Road in Saratoga, for a misdemeanor citation for driving with privileges suspended/revoked.
  • Vanezza Wltz, 26, of Milpitas, 10:30 a.m., April 20, at 200 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for infractions and misdemeanors related to turning on red, driving with privileges suspended or revoked, having no insurance, petty theft of personal property/larceny, having no registration, insurance or registration among others. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Stevie Sorrell Williams, 28, of Sunnyvale, 11:32 a.m., April 18, at Homestead and Stelling roads in Cupertino, for a misdemeanor citation related to driving with privileges suspended/revoked. 
  • David Shrader, 43, of Campbell, 11:30 p.m., April 18, at Lawrence Expressway and Prospect Road in Saratoga, for citations related to failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle, driving with privileges suspended/revoked and driving without due caution.

Petty Theft

  • Tina DelVillar, 39, of Gilroy, 9 a.m., April 20, at the South Santa Clara County Courthouse at 301 Diana Ave. in Morgan Hill, for one felony related to petty theft with three or more priors.
  • Hanh Le, 21, of Santa Clara, 6:23 p.m., April 19, at 10333 No. Wolfe Road in Cupertino, for a misdemeanor citation related to petty theft of personal property/larceny.

I am impressed with CalTrans ability to do the cleanup, but the problem of homelessness does not goRead More away. Until we find a way to help these people in need, the camps will just move to another location, and everything will start all over again. The homeless need help - whether they want it or not. It's time to get that ball rolling.

Who is Tony Faber? Here is some history from a family member. My name is Karen Hunt and myRead More grandfather is and was Albert Jacob Faber. He owned and ran that bike shop up until his death in 1975. Subsequent to grandpa's death the house/building became the property of my grandmother, Lucille Faber. Upon her death, the property went to my mother, Jackie Faber-Cornick. In 1978, the business, not the building was sold to Alex Lariviere and he has conducted business since. The building was never sold and belongs to my mom, Jackie Cornick. It was her great-grandparents home back in the 1920's. We are shocked and saddened by this tremendous loss. At this time, we are trying to decide the fate of that beloved building. We are currently awaiting forensics tests, engineering and structural reports, and working with the City to keep it safe and prevent it from being vandalized and becoming a blight. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about the history of Faber's Cyclery. My grandfather was a man of character and integrity. Sadly, neither of his two sons became involved in the business. With that said, anybody claiming to be a Faber or son of Albert Jacob, is just misrepresenting the truth.
