Residential Burglaries, Stolen Beretta: Campbell Weekend Crime Wrapup

The following arrest information was supplied by the Campbell Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, March 22

6:59 p.m.

40 Block of Sunnyside Ave.

A 56-year-old suspect double parked his car in the middle of the street, got out and defecated in the roadway. He was contacted, cited and released.

7:17 p.m.

200 Block of Radford Dr.

A 68-year-old suspect was contacted by a police officer at his residence regarding an outstanding $10,000 warrant and was booked.

6:30 p.m.

900 Block of Ravenscourt Ave.

The victim called Campbell Police to report that her ex-boyfriend had come to her residence. The victim had a no-contact domestic violence restraining order protecting her from the suspect. A report was taken.

12:55 a.m.

Hamilton Avenue and Winchester Boulevard

A 45-year-old suspect was stopped for a California Vehicle Code violation and was determined to be DUI and was booked.

12:10 a.m.

2300 Block of S. Winchester Blvd.

A 56-year-old fell into a display at the store and appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect was contacted and determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself and was booked.

1:12 a.m.

Michael Drive through Union Avenue

An unknown suspect backed into four parked cars. The license plate was obtained of the suspect’s car. The suspect was located on Apricot Avenue and was towed. The suspect fled the scene prior to Campbell Police’s arrival. A report was taken.

1:12 a.m.

100 Block of Union Ave.

The suspect is the registered owner of a car and is on post-release community supervision probation for weapons violations. The suspect has a no-alcohol clause and was HBD, or "had been drinking" and admitted to drinking when he was contacted inside the residence. A report to probation and DA for the violation was made.

6:49 a.m.

Merrimac Drive at Lexington Drive

An officer located a 1990 Honda Accord. It was stolen out of San Jose on March 21. A report was taken.

8:11 a.m.

Laura Drive at Marilyn Drive

Officers located a 1987 Honda Accord. It was the car stolen last night from S. Bascom Ave. A report was taken.

9:30 p.m.-9:30 a.m.

500 Block of Cherry Blossom Ln.

An unknown suspect entered an unsecured car, ransacked it and took several items. A report was taken.

March 21, 6:30 p.m.

Union Avenue

During an argument, the suspect pushed the victim onto the stairs, causing abrasions. Follow up to officer.

12:40 a.m.

60 Block of E. Rincon Ave.

Three Hispanic male adults, about 20-25 years old were seen by a witness taking belongings out of a parked Honda Prelude. The suspects left the area in a gold, two-door Honda Civic with an unknown license plate. The suspects entered the locked car by unknown means and stole the stereo. No further description of the suspects or the car they were were given. A report was taken.

2:10-3:00 p.m.

1200 Block of Dell Ave.

Unknown suspects broke the window to the victim’s car and stole her purse. A report was taken.

March 19, 8:00 p.m. – March 21, 6:30 a.m.

800 Block of N. Central Ave.

An unknown suspect entered the residence and stoke the victim’s Beretta 9 mm handgun from his nightstand drawer. No signs of forced entry into the home.

3:40 p.m.

1100 Block of E. Campbell Ave.

A suspect pushed the victim against the wall during an argument. The suspect fled prior to Campbell Police’s arrival. A report was taken.

10:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m.

500 Block of Valley Forge Way

An unknown suspect entered the residence via an unlocked window and ransacked the house. The suspect took an unknown loss at this time. A report was taken.

Saturday, March 23

6:44 a.m.

500 Block of Millich Ave.

Officer located a stolen Nissan at the above location. It was reported stolen. A report was taken.

11:30 a.m.

300 Block of Budd Ave.

A 35-year-old suspect was reported to be in violation of a court order. When an officer went to contact him, the suspect fled on food. He was caught and taken into custody. He also had warrants.

6:12 p.m.

300 Block of Budd Ave.

both suspect 1 and suspect 2 got into a physical altercation. Both state the other started the altercation. A report was taken.

6:12 p.m.

300 Block of Budd Ave.

A 26-year-old suspect reported that suspect 1 in the above event had a gun. The suspect admitted to lying about the gun to get a quicker police response and was booked.

March 11 to March 19

1000 Block of Lovell Ave.

An unknown suspect removed packages containing clothing from the front porch. A report was taken.

8:29 p.m.

600 Block of E. Hamilton Ave.

A 28-year-old suspect stole property and fled. The suspect returned around 8:29 p.m. and stole more property. The suspect was placed under arrest. A search of the suspect’s car revealed the stolen property from earlier in the day. The suspect was also found to be in possession of Heroin and hypodermic needles and was booked.

11:00 p.m.

200 Block of E. Campbell Ave.

Suspect 1 and suspect 2 were intoxicated. They became 415 and pushed a standing heater over. Both suspects fled prior to Campbell Police’s arrival. A report was made.

12:13 a.m.

900 Block of W. Hamilton Ave.

A 27-year-old suspect bit the victim on his shoulder, ripped his shirt and scratched him. She was intoxicated and booked.

12:23 a.m.

2300 Block of S. Winchester Blvd.

A 22-year-old suspect was contacted and found to be in possession of hypodermic needles. The suspect admitted to using Methamphetamine and Heroin. He was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was booked.

1:11 a.m.

200 Block of W. Hamilton Ave.

A 15-year-old got into an argument about going to a party. The missing person did not return home and a report was taken.

2:22 a.m.

Campbell Avenue and Jeffers Way

A 22-year-old suspect and the victim fell into the roadway in front of the officer’s car. The suspect was hitting the victim and pulling her hair. She was intoxicated and determined to be unable to care for herself and was booked.

3:24 a.m

100 Block of W. Campbell Ave.

A 25-year-old was intoxicated and attempting to get into the above residence, where he did not live. The suspect was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself and was booked.

Sunday, March 24

10:58 a.m.

100 Block of N. San Tomas Aquino

Two suspects made a purchase of merchandise using a credit card that was accepted. The manger who completed the transaction, noticed a purse in the trash to the rear of the business. The ID n the purse matched the name of the credit card that the two suspects had used. The purse had been stolen in the morning. A report was taken.

11:49 a.m.

1200 Block of Dell Ave.

An unknown suspect smashed out a window to a car and stole a back pack. A report was taken.

10:30 a.m.-12:42 a.m.

800 Block of E Hamilton Ave.

An unknown suspect smashed out a window to a car and stole a back pack. A report was taken.

7:43 p.m.

900 Block of W. Hamilton Ave.

A 44-year-old suspect slapped the victim, causing a bloody nose. The suspect fled but was contacted and taken into custody.

8:40 p.m.

900 Block of W. Hamilton Ave.

A suspect choked, pushed and slapped the victim. A report was taken.

10:23 p.m.

E Campbell Avenue and Central Avenue

A 38-year-old was causing a disturbance and was determined to be too intoxicated to care for herself and was booked.

8:00-10:00 p.m.

400 Block of E Hamilton Ave.

An unknown suspect cut the lock securing a mountain bike with an aftermarket two stroke gasoline engine attached and stole the bicycle. A report was taken.

2:05 a.m.

300 Block of Bedal Ln.

An officer located an abandoned Honda that was reported stolen. A report was taken.

1:47 a.m.

600 Block of E Campbell Ave.

An officer located a van that had been reported stolen. The suspect was contacted and her statement was taken. The report was sent to the DA.

3:17 a.m.

South Bascom Avenue and Campisi Way

A 28-year-old suspect fled in his car after refusing to identify himself to the officer during a contact. The suspect drove to his apartment and then fled the car on foot where he was apprehended after a short distance. The suspect was determined to be DUI, had an outstanding warrant and was booked.
