Power Outage in Parts of Campbell, West Valley Restored

NBC Bay Area News tweeted Thursday evening that 3,159 PG&E customers in Campbell, Saratoga and west San Jose were without power and that crews were investigating the cause of the service interruption.

It then posted an updated tweet saying power had been restored to all customers in the affected area and that the utility was continuing to look into the reason for the blackout.

This morning, we checked the PG&E outage map on the utility's website and found no outages in Campbell, but a small one in Saratoga affecting about 12 customers in the downtown area of that city.

PG&E spokeswoman Lynsey Paulo said the large outage in the West Valley started at about 10 p.m. Thursday evening and was fixed by 11:15 p.m.

TELL US: Where you one of the affected customers in Campbell? What parts of the city were in the dark and for how long?
