The damage to the unoccupied home was to the bedroom and its contents, although smoke damaged the rest of the interior of the home, Pearson said.

The occupants of the house were not home at the time of the fire, Pearson said.

The department's fire investigator is trying to discover what caused the blaze, Pearson said.
