Update: Missing Octogenarian Found

82-year-old disappeared Tuesday evening, police say.


Update: Noon Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013: The 82 year old missing adult at risk, Edward Centeio, has been located safely by the Roseville Police Department.

San Jose Police detectives and Roseville police are working to reunite the missing person with his family. 

Centeio was disoriented and attempting to find his way back home before he was contacted by Roseville Police, San Jose police said in a media advisory.

San Jose police are searching for 82-year-old Edward Centeio who went missing on Tuesday evening.

Centeio was last seen at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday at his home, located in the 2100 block of Muirwood Way in the Northwood neighborhood of San Jose, police said.

He drove away from his home in a gray four-door 2009 Hyundai Sonata with the California license plate number 6NIS710 and has not returned home, according to San Jose police.

He is described as a Hawaiian man, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

According to police, Centeio was last seen wearing a multi-colored shirt with white pants and black shoes.

He suffers from high blood pressure and police said he does not have his medication with him.
