Police Arrest Man, 18, for Stealing Bike from Child at VTA Station on Hamilton

But now Campbell Police are looking for the victim, believed to be 8-10 years old

Campbell Police are looking for a boy, 8-10 years old who had his bicycle stolen Thursday at 9:05 p.m. at the VTA station at Hamilton Avenue and Creekside Way.

Witnesses saw the suspect riding away on a bicycle and heard the boy yelling for help. A vigilant witness followed the suspect to the Whole Foods parking lot until officers arrived and arrested James Soque-Carrell, 18, a transient with a history of thefts. 

The suspect was ultimately arrested for intimidating the witness; however, the victim of the bicycle theft was never located. Campbell Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed this or has information regarding the incident to contact the Investigations Division at 408-871-5190.
