For those in Campbell watch as the Sierra LaMar case unfolds, here's an opportunity to help.
The KlaasKids Foundation, which has been conducting search parties for missing Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar, is asking for the public's help in securing office supplies and other essential items needed to stock the search center at Burnett Elementary School in Morgan Hill.
KlaasKids volunteers are asking for the following supplies:
- Gift cards to Staples or Safeway
- Tecnu or similar poison oak lotion
- Bug spray
The foundation is also asking for printer ink so volunteers can continue printing posters of the missing Sobrato High student.
Ink is needed for the following printers:
- HP 6000 printer, needs HP 920 color and black ink
- HP F4580 printer, needs HP 60 color and black ink
- Lexmark printer, need color 33 and black 32
For information on where to bring the supplies, contact Karah at (408) 386-3226.
The foundation aids families of missing people and has conducted numerous searches for 15-year-old Sierra LaMar, who was last seen on March 16. Most searches have taken place in the missing teen's hometown of Morgan Hill, but began earlier this month.
The nonprofit's most recent search took place over the weekend on April 7 and another one is being organized for Wednesday.
Individuals interested in participating in tomorrow's search can join KlassKids and others in the cafeteria at Burnett Elementary School in Morgan Hill between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., Wednesday. For more information on how to volunteer, contact Tricia Griffiths at (801) 560-1933, or send an email to email@example.com.
