Highway 17 Lanes Reopened After Fatal Crash

The 4:20 p.m. crash closed several lanes and the Camden Avenue off ramp.

All southbound lanes on Highway 17 near Campbell have reopened following a fatal crash Saturday afternoon at the Camden Avenue off ramp.

The California Highway Patrol said the 4:20 p.m. crash initially blocked several lanes and closed the off ramp causing traffic delays in the area. Early CHP reports said a single victim suffered massive head trauma and was pinned under a vehicle.

CHP officials said all lanes were reopened at 7:15 p.m.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
