Fire Leaves $30,000 in Damages to Latimer Townhouse

The Santa Clara County Fire Department sent 10 vehicles to dispatch the blaze.

Santa Clara County Fire Department responded to a structure fire at Latimer Circle Tuesday.

The call came in at 5:02 p.m. that there was a fire at a two-story townhouse at 528 Latimer Circle. Ten vehicles, including four fire engines responded to the fire.

According to fire spokeswoman, the origin of the fire was the patio/courtyard and the majority of damage was done to the attic and roof.

The fire, according to the report caused approximately $30,000 in property loss, most of which was to the attic and roof, and $3,000 in content loss. The cause of the blaze is still undetermined.

Also on the scene were Campbell Police, PG&E and the Red Cross.

The fire was extinguished and cleared at 8:00 p.m.
