Downtown Campbell Starbucks Evacuated

Santa Clara Fire Department responded to a report that smoke was smelled inside.

The Santa Clara County Fire Department responded to a call to the Starbucks in downtown Campbell on reports that there was a smell of smoke early Thursday morning.

The smell turned out to be a burned out motor, said a Santa Clara County Fire Department spokesperson who declined to be identified.

Campbell Patch was first alerted about the incident and subsequent evacuation by Campbell resident and photography enthusiast Jason Brickman on Twitter.
