Campbell Police Log: Public Intoxication, Burglaries, Thefts

A look at the Campbell Police Department's crime log for Jan. 5-7.

  • Public Intoxication: 1:50 a.m. Jan. 5, 200 block So. Bascom Ave., a man was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself.
  • Public Intoxication: 1:05 a.m. Jan. 5, 1800 block So. Bascom Ave,  a man was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself.
  • Petty Theft: 6:50 p.m. Jan. 5, 2300 block So. Winchester Blvd., two 15-year-old boys stole liquor and were cited.
  • Possession: 6:57 p.m. Jan. 5, 600 block East Hamilton Ave., a man was arrested after a meth pipe was found in his backpack and he was under the influence of a stimulant.
  • Public Intoxication: 6:26 p.m. Jan. 5, 60 S. Star, a parolee was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself.
  • Auto Burglary: 3:04 p.m. Jan. 5, 1200 block of Fewtrell, a car was broken into and property was stolen.
  • Bike Theft: 2:25 p.m. Jan. 5, 1600 block So. Bascom Avenue, a bicycle was stolen
  • Vandalism: 1:08 p.m. Jan. 5 400 block Millich, a building was spray painted
  • Bike Theft: 10:30 a.m. Jan. 5, 1900 block So. Bascom Avenue, a Trek bicycle was stolen
  • Auto Burglary: 6:47 a.m. Jan. 5, 1400 block Arroyo Seco, a car was broken into and property was stolen.
  • Criminal Threats: 4:22 a.m. Jan. 3, 400 block Kenneth Avenue, a man threatened to kill a woman and her family when she refused to give him money for a hotel.
  • Outstanding Warrant: 12:29 p.m. Jan. 6, 2800 block Joseph Avenue, a 25-year-old woman was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
  • Fraud: October of 2013, 700 block of Nido, an unknown suspect used a person's Social Security number to obtain disability checks.
  • Possession: 2:01 a.m. Jan. 5, at Bascom and Union avenues, three suspects were stopped for a vehicle code violation and two were found in possession of cocaine and all three under the influence of a stimulant. The trio admitted recent cocaine use.
  • Residential Burglary: 7 a.m Jan. 5, 500 block Sobrato Drive, a residence's doors and windows were tampered with to force entry.
  • Public Intoxication: 7:35 p.m. Jan. 6, 1600 block of So. Bascom Avenue, a man was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself.
  • Under the Influence: 6:41 p.m. Jan. 6, 800 block E. Hamilton Avenue, a 23-year-old  man was determined to be under the influence of a stimulant.
  • Public Intoxication: 2:26 a.m. Jan. 7, Marathon and Gale, a 35-year-old man was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself, pushed a victim twice and had a 25,000 warrant for his arrest.
  • DUI: 9:47 p.m. Jan. 7, 1300 block Camden Avenue, a 51-year-old man was arrested for DUI.
  • Public Intoxication: 8:34 p.m. Jan. 7, 2200 block So. Bascom Avenue, a 32-year-old woman was determined to be too intoxicated to care for herself.
  • Road Rage: 6:34 p.m. Jan. 7, 1800 block So. Bascom Avenue, a Caucasian male adult, between the ages of 25 and 30, got into a road rage incident and fled prior to police arrival. 
  • Outstanding Warrant: 3:36 p.m. Jan. 7, Bascom and Camden, a 21-year-old man was stopped for a vehicle code violation and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
  • Vandalism: overnight Jan. 7, 1800 block So. Bascom, an unknown suspect spray painted graffiti on walls.
  • Stolen Vehicle Recovery: 11 a.m. Jan. 7, 100 block Gillman, a stolen gray '93 Honda was located.
