Campbell Police Log: Meth Arrests, Assault, Thefts

A look at the Campbell Police Department's crime log for Jan. 10-13.

  • Trespassing: 9:12 a.m. Jan. 10, 1700 block Grace Avenue, suspects knocked on a residence's front door and when they didn't get an answer, they walked into the backyard momentarily before fleeing in a '90s Honda Accord.
  • Assault: Jan. 8, 100 block Wilton, a woman with facial bruising went to an area hospital and told staff a man had assaulted her.
  • Bike Theft: 7 a.m. Jan. 10, 200 block Union Avenue, a mountain bike was stolen
  • Auto Theft: 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10, 800 block Gale Drive, a '96 Honda Accord was stolen
  • Stolen Auto Recovery: 7:50 a.m. Jan. 10, a stolen gold Honda Accord was located
  • Parolee at Large: 6:30 a.m. Jan. 10, 800 block Harriet Avenue, a man was found to be a parolee at large
  • Domestic Disturbance: 11 p.m. Jan. 10, 300 block Union Avenue, a 37-year-old man was arrested by Campbell police officers after a domestic disturbance and physical altercation
  • Felony Warrant: 11:29 a.m. Jan. 11, Hamilton Avenue and Winchester Boulevard, a 50-year-old man was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest.
  • Auto Theft: 6 p.m. Jan. 11, 400 block April Way, a '96 green Honda Accord was stolen
  • Auto Vandalism: 5:30 p.m. Jan. 11, 100 block Cherry Lane, a car's windshield wipers were damaged
  • DUI/Hit-And-Run: 12:46 a.m. jan. 11, Railway Avenue and Sam Cava Lane, a 26-year-old man collided with a streetlight, left the scene and was arrested for DUI.
  • Shoplifting: 5:36 p.m. Jan. 11, 2300 block So. Winchester Blvd., a 54-year-old man concealed merchandise and exited the business without paying.
  • Possession: 1:07 a.m. Jan. 12, 1700 block So. Bascom Avenue, a 23-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were found in possession of 0.9 grams of methamphetamine, a meth pipe, burglary tools and under the influence of methamphetamine.
  • Possession: 11:42 p.m. Jan. 12, Flamingo and Cameo drives, a 20-year-old woman was found in possession of more than an ounce of marijuana and concentrated cannabis. She also had an open alcohol container in the car.
  • Criminal Threats: Last four months, report taken Jan. 12, 200 block No. Star, a citizen reported receiving threatening phone calls containing profanities.
  • Public Intoxication: 6:14 p.m. Jan. 12, 200 block E. Campbell Avenue, two 27-year-old men were too intoxicated to care for themselves. One was on parole and the other was on probation. 
  • Auto Vandalism: overnight Jan. 12, 300 block W. Rincon, a car's window was broken, no entry was made
  • Stolen Auto Recovery: 9:37 a.m. Jan. 12, Phelps and Payne, a stolen green Honda Accord was located.
  • Bike Theft: 1:21 p.m. Jan. 12, 1800 block So. Bascom Avenue, a bicycle's lock was cut and stolen.
  • Traffic Warrant: 3:23 a.m. Jan. 13, 600 block E. Campbell Ave., a 39-year-old woman was found to have a traffic warrant.
  • Possession: 2:01 a.m. Jan. 13, 570 block E. Hamilton Ave., two men, ages 60 and 49, were stopped for a vehicle code violation and were found in possession of 4.8 grams of meth, meth pipe, digital scale and packaging. One of them had a license suspended for DUI and the other was in possession of Methadone without a prescription and a no-bail warrant for his arrest.
  • Auto Burglary: 8 p.m. Jan. 13, 800 block So. Star, a vehicle was burglarized
  • Theft: Jan. 12, 200 block Rose Court, a 58-year-old suspect took money from a citizen
  • Fraudulent Charges: 2:13 p.m. Jan. 13, 600 block Budd Avenue, a citizen's credit card was used to make fraudulent charges.
  • Shoplifting: a 34-year-old man left the store without paying.
  • Commercial Burglary: Jan. 13, 500 block Salmar, a storage unit was broken into and property was stolen.
  • Auto Theft: Jan. 13, 800 block San Tomas Aquino, a Honda Accord was reported stolen
  • Fraudulent Charges: 11:57 a.m. Jan. 13, 300 block Dunster, a citizen's debit card was used to make purchases online 
  • Possession: 11:40 a.m. Jan. 13, 200 block Union, a 34-year-old man was found to have an outstanding felony no-bail warrant for his arrest and had a baggie of meth in his jacket.
  • Commercial Burglary: weekend, Jan. 13, 1900 block So. Bascom Avenue, property was stolen from a business after a forced entry.
