Campbell Man Arrested in Connection with Stabbing

A fight and stabbing took place at a San Jose apartment complex early Friday morning.

A Campbell man was arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 26-year-old man who was stabbed during a fight at a San Jose apartment complex early this morning, police said.

Police were dispatched at 12:52 a.m. to an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Sun Glory Lane on a report of a fight involving several people, police said.

Arriving officers found a 26-year-old San Jose resident suffering from at least one stab wound. He was taken to a hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Officers arrested Darren Alvan Yules, 33, of Campbell, in connection with the stabbing. Officers also found the weapon allegedly used in the stabbing at the scene.

Yules was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to police.

The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
