According to the US Homeland Security website, a Campbell man was arrested at an Arizona port trying to transport $1 million in liquid methamphetamine.
Vasa Majo, 41, was stopped at the Douglas Port, the release said, after "U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers discovered nearly 8.5 gallons of liquid methamphetamine hidden in the gas tank of his 1998 Honda Accord."
The gas tank looked to be tampered with and, after a CBP narcotics detection canine was used, the presence of drugs was confirmed, the release said.
According to the release, individuals arrested may be charged by complaint, which is the method by which a person is charged with criminal activity, raising no inference of guilt.
