BLOTTER: Dog Scares Off Would-Be Burglar, Man Urinates on Another Man, then Punches Him

Monday, Sept. 3 

8:08 a.m.

A 29-year-old suspect scratched the victim on the arm, causing an injury. She had two outstanding warrants and was booked into jail.

11:50 a.m.

300 Block of Budd Ave.

A suspect was reported as a suspicious person. He had a warrant for his arrest and was in possession of a meth pipe. He was arrested and booked.

2:15-3:00 p.m.

1800 Block of S. Bascom Ave.

An unknown suspect cut the lock and stole a black and yellow Scott 29 sport mountain bike. A report was taken.

3:25 p.m.

400 Block of Queens Ct.

A Honda Accord was dumped at this location. A report was taken. 

Sunday, Sept. 2 

1:00-9:30 a.m.

900 Block of Central Ave.

The unknown suspect used an unknown object to brake windows to two cars. A report was taken.

12:00 a.m.

700 Block of Nido Dr.

A 56-year-old was reported as possible DUI. Upon contact, she was determined to be DUI and was arrested.

7:25 a.m.

900 Block of Campisi

The unknown suspect in his 2s with a mustache, shot hair, white T-shirt and black pants followed a car into the garage on foot and broke a car’s windows and stole a check. A report was taken.

2:57 p.m.

800 Block of Sobrato Dr.

A 19-year-old was contacted regarding a disturbance and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, graffiti tools and was on probation. He was arrested.

3:00 p.m.

1800 Block of S Bascom Ave.

The unknown 30-year-old suspect attempted to pass a false $100 bill. He fled prior to PD arrival and a report was taken. 

Saturday, Sept. 1

Aug. 30-Sep. 1

3500 Block of S. Bascom Ave.

An unknown suspect used the victim’s debit account information to transfer money to somewhere in the Ukraine. A report was taken.

Aug. 31

400 Block of Queens Ct.

A 16-year-old ran away from home and is not believed to be at risk. A report was taken.

9:30 p.m.

800 Block of Emory Ave.

A victim was leaning in the open window of a suspect’s car while they were arguing. The suspect sped away, which caused the victim to be knocked to the ground. A report was taken.

12:00-11: p.m.

1200 Block of Pollard Rd.

A 16-year-old ran away from home. He is not believed to be at risk. A report was taken.

12:52 a.m.

200 Block of Orchard City Dr.

A 24-year-old urinated on the victim and then punched him in the face. He was on probation and was booked.

9:15 a.m.

200 Block of Cherry Ln.

A 34-year-old suspect was inside and fled out a window. Officer immediately recognized him and knew he had a warrant for his arrest. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody. He later admitted to committing the burglary and was arrested.

9:00 a.m.

Topaz Avenue

Officer located a stolen Honda and a report was taken.

Aug. 31-Sept.1, 10:00 p.m.-8:30 a.m.

2100 Block of S. Winchester Blvd.

The unknown suspect entered the car and took electronic items. A report was taken.

7:15 a.m.

700 Block of Hacienda Ave.

An unknown suspect attempted to enter the residence but was scared off by the family dog. The victim located the suspect’s burglary tools left at the scene. A report was taken.

4:50 p.m.

1100 Block of Hazelwood Ave.

The suspect entered the lot which is near the start of construction. The suspect attempted to enter the manager’s RV. No parties were injured. The suspect was admonished for trespassing and a report was taken.
