As a smoker I am totally in favor of a ban in public areas. No reason I should inflict even one iota of my bad habit on others. I am not, however, in favor of the county's new ban on people smoking in their own apartments, town homes, or condos.

Thinkingbear, Thank you for your perspective and for taking the time to comment on the site. Do you have ideas or thoughts on alternatives to the county's new ban?

I think smoking should be banned everywhere in public, and in areas that are private but are considered a workplace. It's not right for smokers to carelessly poison the public they way some of them do. I don't go around spraying pesticides into their faces and they shouldn't be blowing smoke into mine.
