Dear Mayra,
I wanted to express my gratitude for the Campbell Patch, and all you have done to make it a robust, interactive, informative, and comprehensive hub for all things Campbell. Since discovering the Patch and reading e-newsletters, tweets, posts, and your articles, I have learned more in the past year, than in the 28 years I've lived here!
Thank you for highlighting the people, places, and events that make our town so special. The content you put on the Patch displays many of the reasons why I couldn't imagine setting down roots anywhere else. I lived in San Diego during college and would come back to Campbell every so often and be shocked at all the new buildings, businesses, and changes that happened while I was gone.
I would have loved to have a resource like the Patch back then, so that I could keep up with the growth of the city, without feeling left out! Now, people who have a special connection to Campbell can always be involved no matter where they are.
When my parents got married and decided to start their life together in Campbell, their home was surrounded by fruit orchards. I wonder if they even imagined what this city would become! But as much as it has grown and modernized, Campbell has kept it's charm, and I think that the Patch has unearthed everything that makes this a great community.
