Update: Thanks For Voting. Results Coming Soon. Campbell Best Of: Best Sandwich

This brand new series gives readers the chance to vote for their favorite businesses and service providers.

Gyros, paninis, tortas and sandwich.

The names are of no consequence when it comes to a good one so it makes sense to kick off our inaugural Best of Patch contest with this food item on our mind.

Here are some of our favorite places, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:

RECENTLY ADDED:

And since you're professing your loyalty to the sandwich, why not leave a review of the business? Just click on the links provided above.

Because our poll isn't scientific, it won't be the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, who will base their decision on the poll results, ratings, reviews and comments. Readers are asked to please vote only once per survey, per Patch site.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Winner will announced at noon Friday and will receive a "Patch Best Of 2012" certificate.

So what are you waiting for? Cast your vote and tell us where the best sandwich in Campbell is!

Is your favorite sandwich in another city? Cast your vote at these other Patch sites:

  • Capitola-Soquel
  • Santa Cruz

I am impressed with CalTrans ability to do the cleanup, but the problem of homelessness does not goRead More away. Until we find a way to help these people in need, the camps will just move to another location, and everything will start all over again. The homeless need help - whether they want it or not. It's time to get that ball rolling.

Who is Tony Faber? Here is some history from a family member. My name is Karen Hunt and myRead More grandfather is and was Albert Jacob Faber. He owned and ran that bike shop up until his death in 1975. Subsequent to grandpa's death the house/building became the property of my grandmother, Lucille Faber. Upon her death, the property went to my mother, Jackie Faber-Cornick. In 1978, the business, not the building was sold to Alex Lariviere and he has conducted business since. The building was never sold and belongs to my mom, Jackie Cornick. It was her great-grandparents home back in the 1920's. We are shocked and saddened by this tremendous loss. At this time, we are trying to decide the fate of that beloved building. We are currently awaiting forensics tests, engineering and structural reports, and working with the City to keep it safe and prevent it from being vandalized and becoming a blight. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about the history of Faber's Cyclery. My grandfather was a man of character and integrity. Sadly, neither of his two sons became involved in the business. With that said, anybody claiming to be a Faber or son of Albert Jacob, is just misrepresenting the truth. Thank you for sharing your story and memories! Very truly yours, Karen Hunt Great grandaughter of the owner of the Original Fabers Cyclery.
