This Week's Mommy Tip: The Many Uses for Dryer Sheets

The Mom Squad Moms share some tips and tricks for other parents.

This week's Mommy Tip:

Dryer sheets are for more than just laundry! Try these tricks, and if you have some more, please share them with us!

1. Use a sheet to wipe down your base boards to keep dust away.

2. Put a sheet in your pocket to keep mosquitos and other bugs away.

3. Take a *used* sheet to scrub your shower doors. (This one is from Mom Squad friend Adelle G.)

A few more we heard today: - Put one in your dresser drawers or linen closets to keep clothes and sheets smelling fresh. - Use one to dust window blinds - Use to rub away pet hair on clothing, carpet, or furniture. - Put one in your vacuum bag and it will freshen the air while you clean. - Gently wipe your hair to reduce "fly-aways" - Used sheets work great for polishing chrome and stainless steel

Thanks for all these tips, Mom Squad! I for one can vouch that putting one in your vacuum bag will indeed make the air smell just like clean laundry. :)

I gently dust my older TV screen with a sheet and keeps the dust away. I read this tip years ago.
