Magnet Fishing
What you'll need:
A stick
String
Glue
Small magnets (craft magnets work great)
Either small fish toys or paper fish (we cut out and decorated paper fish ourselves)
Tie the string to the stick and glue the magnet to the end
Glue magnets to each of the fish
Let your child have at it!
We turned it into a little game. I've drawn numbers on each of the fish and when she picks up a fish she has to tell me what number it is and then she gets to have that number of candy buttons (or any kind of treat you have around!). Its a fun game and she loves the treat in the end!
