- FIRST FRIDAY
Where/When: Entertainment for the family at various venues along East Campbell and Central avenues in downtown Cambbell. Friday 6 to 9 p.m.
Why go: A chance to see live performances by Steve Austin at the Frost Cupcake Factory, Hubert Emerson & The GroWiser Band at Simply Smashing!, Andrew Paz at Recycle Bookstore West, and Mark Rodriguez at Toys Toys Toys.
Price: Free.
- ST. LUCY SCHOOL FOOD AND FUN FEST
Where/When: St. Lucy Parish School, 76 Kennedy Ave.; Friday from 4:30 to 10 p.m.; Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
Why go: Enjoy carnival rides, music, family entertainment, exhibits, food and games.
Price: Rides are $15 advance; $25 at the event. Food and game tickets are $5 for 10 tickets in advance; $6 for 10 tickets at the event.
- CAMPBELL HISTORIC MUSEUM
Where/When: 51 N. Central Ave.; Friday-Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Why go: See a collection of special exhibits functional art, music and drama, and the historical canning and drying yards. Other exhibits focus on the evolution of kitchen appliances and technology, and recreation activities. 408-866-2119.

- ALFRED HITCHCOCK MINI FESTIVAL
Where/When: Campbell Library, 77 Harrison Ave.; Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.
Why go: Get ready for Halloween by watching a marathon of suspenseful, humorous, sly and supernatural episodes from the Alfred Hitchcock Presents classic television series. Snacks and light refreshments will be served.

- CAMPBELL FARMERS’ MARKET
Where/When: East Campbell and North Central avenues; Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why go: Peruse a wide selection of locally-grown fresh seasonal vegetables, pesto, honey, baked goods, eggs and meats.
