Nimsoft in collaboration with Pruneyard Equity Office is organizing a Stanford Blood Drive to benefit the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital on Wednesday May 9.
"It's very close to my heart," said Nimsoft employee Sinead McDonnell Borgersen.
Borgersen's son, Faelan is alive because of the three transfusions he received there in first four months of his life. Neither she nor her husband could donate to him so he literally depended on the kindness of strangers.
This blood drive is very important to a Nimsoft employee Sinead Mc Donnell Borgersen personally as the blood drive will be for the Stanford Blood Center that helps the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital where her youngest son received his life saving transfusions.
Donuts and refreshments will be provided and Nimsoft is sponsoring a drawing for restaurant/movie tickets and amazon gift cards for participants. Donors also receive a free health screening. Zazzle will also be donating tshirts for participants as well.
