Percolation Ponds Dry Along McGlincey

Lack of rain is reason for the lack of water in the ponds near Edith Morley Park.

Visitors at may have noticed that there's a serious in the area.

This might have to do with the fact that the there are all dried up.

Santa Clara Valley Water District Program Administrator Marty Grimes said the current state of the percolation ponds has to do with the amount of rain the area received this year.

"The short answer is that we didn’t get enough rain this year to keep those ponds full," Grimes said in an email. "The good news is the groundwater basin is in good condition, so by emptying these ponds, we have a chance to do some ."
