Mission Lands Became Parts of Campbell

Many missions were located in Silicon Valley, but only a few survived.

This week's history photo hits on the Valley's relationship with missions.

In this particular black and white photo of a postcard, you can see Mission Santa Clara de Asis, California 1777. The original postcard location is unknown.

In the picture, a scene of daily life in the early years after it was founded in 1777. Some of the lands owned by the mission later become Campbell.
