HISTORY: Looking Into Downtown From the Sky

A black and white look at what downtown Campbell was like more than 50 years ago.

This week's history photo is a black and white arial shot of Campbell Avenue.

The image shows Campbell Avenue through downtown with the railroad tracks intersecting. Campbell Lumber Co. is clearly visible in the right center of the image.

The Campbell Water Company Tower is visible on the left side of the image, a second smaller tower is visible on the right side above the cannery buildings, possibly the Hunt/Ainsley Water Tower.
