A group of about half a dozen people congregated atop of the Second Street Parking Garage this morning in the hopes of catching a glimpse of history.
"It's a rare event, not something that happens everyday," said one spectator.
"This is history," one giddy spectator said.
"This is the end of the road," another said.
"We came out to see it because we are in a position to see it," said John DiMarco.
He another another coworker stood watching the shuttle fly by and said they were glad they came out to the Second Street Garage.
"This location was the highest point," Di Marco said.
As for how he's feeling after watching Endeavour fly by, he just smiles and says, "it is what it is. It was pretty cool. Draws your attention."
