Campbell Cannery Workers

This snapshot of the past shows what life was like in the Orchard City.

This week's history photo is a black and white picture of possibly the Hyde cannery workers.

The photograph is believed to be taken between 1910 and 1940 at the Geo E Hyde & Co./Campbell Fruit Grower's Union property, but exactly which company is shown is unknown.

Women are all shown in a standard uniform of a rounded neck dress with white trim. Men are shown standing along the back row. The bottom portion of the Campbell Water Company Tower is shown in the back center of the image.
