POLL: Has the Plastic Bag Ban Affected Your Shopping?

Plastic or reusable, which one do you prefer?

How did your shopping week go? Were you affected at all?

I've been trying to use the re-usable for the last few years. I like the cloth ones from Trader Joe's the best, they last a LONG time. My only issue with not having plastic bags readily available in my pantry is when I go to clean out the litter box :(

I live in the San Jose area and having plastic bags banned is quite annoying. We have also reused the plastic bags as trash bags and to do doggy duty. Idk what I'm going to do once all my bags run out

Hahahaha! I feel the same way.... I'm very tired of the moralizing and the politically-acceptable bullying that is "green" legislation …

I have not spent one cent in SJ since the ban, nor will I. I will continue to send my dollar votes to cities who do not have a bag ban. Campbell would do well to see if city revenues increase over time, vs rushing into copycatting this insanity. I know I'm not the only one making the effort to shop in cities other than SJ.

I agree slm. I will vote with my feet if Campbell decides to ban bags. I will shop in another city whose local government minds its own business.
