Campbell Rotary Club Names New President, Officers

John Shannon, an educator and long-time associate of the San Jose Unified School District is the new 2014-2015 president of the Campbell Rotary Club

He has also worked with the Visiting International Faculty Program, headquartered in Chapel Hill, NC. 

Currently, he and his wife, Pam, enjoy their jobs serving Sharks fans at the SAP Center. Shannon holds BA and MA degrees from San Jose State University.

Chartered in 1948, the club meets every Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. for a luncheon program at EMQ Families First campus on Llewellyn Avenue. The club’s members are drawn from all segments of the business community and are active in a number of community and service activities both locally and through its district and international organizations.

This is John’s second time as president, having served in 2008-2009.

Other new club officers and directors for the current term are: President-elect Mason McKown; Treasurer Kathy Williamson; Secretary Leonard Cino.
