The Hamann Park Neighborhood Association is holding the National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It is designed to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime prevention efforts
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships
- Send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
The event including a potluck BBQ is will held at the picnic area by the community building on Westfield Avenue.
