Be a Dear and Donate a Brassiere and Silicon Valley Roller Girls Join Forces For An Exciting Roller Derby Match Up To Help Women In Need

Be a Dear and Donate a Brassiere, a community organization  and the Silicon Valley Roller Girls,SVRG, are teaming up for a roller derby bout to support women in transition by providing necessary undergarments.

On Saturday, June 11, there will be a double-header roller derby featuring the KillaBytes and the Dot.Kamikazes.  The action starts at 6p.m. when the KillaBytes take on the Resurrection Roller Girls from Rohnert Park.  Then at 8p.m., the Dot.Kamikazes will battle the Angel City Derby Girls from Los Angeles.  The flat track roller derby face offs will take place at San Jose Skate, which is located at 397 Blossom Hill Road in San Jose.

Be a Dear and Donate a Brassiere, http://www.facebook.com/#!/BeaDearandDonateaBrassiere or BAD, will have a table set up at the sporting event to collect new and gently used bras and new panties which they will, in turn, give to the Sacred Heart Clothes Closet.  The donations help support area homeless and low income women.
