Campbell Police Help Struggling Family

From the Campbell Mom Squad:

On Sunday, December 1 Campbell Police Officers responded to a medical call at an apartment on W. Hamilton Ave. A 26 year old male was suffering from an unknown illness and passed away during transport to the hospital.

The male lived at the residence with his wife (who is pregnant) her thirteen year old son, their four year old daughter, their one year old son, and the Grandfather. During some follow up with the family, they learned the male who died was the sole provider for the family. His sudden passing has put a financial strain on his wife and the children.

Fundraising efforts at the Police Department's Chaplaincy Program has already been able to provided the family with gift cards to Safeway and cash for a portion of their rent. But the family is still in great need of items like diapers, wipes, and other family household needs.

If you or anyone you know would like to help, please let us know and we are happy to gather up donations for the family. Just send us a message and we'll arrange details.

You can drop them off at the Campbell Community Center Preschool, they are taking a collection for the family until Friday, Dec 20. They are located at the Community Center near the Orchard City Banquet Hall on Winchester and Campbell Ave. Thank you so much!
