Just Chillin’

Any given cold or wet day it's hard to accomplish much.

It’s about 2:00 p.m. and pretty excited to talk to Mayra and she seemed just as anxious as me to do an update, refresh my position and hopefully and hopefully my blogs are still in motion for 2012.

I have made it through this winter’s strange cold weather without much rain fall, but for me that’s exactly what will make it all work for me in my advantage for many reasons. I will be able to move about easier with good weather. Any given cold or wet day it's hard to accomplish much. Sleep is the other thing that is sporatic.

Especially in the last month, there was nights and some brutally cold sunrises. If the humidity is high, 29-35 degrees outside, it will sink right into your clothes, blankets and pillows, and god forbid you have to change your clothes in sunrise for the day. They’re ice cubes. A little bit of dampness in all your garments will put a chill in your clothes that at any other circumstances I wouldn’t even think about it or let alone do it. It takes a long time for your body to overcome the chill factor.

It’s funny because I’ve lived in houses, rooms and garages that were close to that condition, but not as bad. There are a lot of people I know that turn off their heater at night. That’s fine until you have to get out of bed into a meat locker. With no heat, the cold will absorb as well and the shower is good but getting out is another thing.

It seemed to most people to be in an uncomfortable situation; and they are right. The fact is, only the people would can afford high energy bills can keep their house heated at all times.

Believe me, there were a few nights and mornings that were unbearable unless you had Mount Everest gear. Thank god Yum Yum all night donut shop on Meridian Avenue was close and very friendly to me and others that were out in the cold, one way or another. There is a real good bunch of employees and the owner, especially concerned with giving me a little help.

Back to the weather, especially the rain. ... I’m going to give freedom another chance.

There is a very refined, wash and wax car service that was brought from Austraillia by a gentleman that resides in Washington State now. He made this product more efficient and more green for guaranteed results. For $20-40 a pop, depending on how big your vehicle, I could do the service in 1 -1.5 hours at your home, at your work, outside of OVC coffee shop. Its an amazing product.

The other thing I’m going to kick off is the Campbell business logo T-shirt, which I did in 2008, and did well. I have a couple more T-shirt ideas that me, and all others have agreed.

So bring on spring and summer, I’ve chilled long enough. It’s time to get hot.
