Fruit Tree Care: A 3-week course with the Master Gardeners of Santa Clara County

It’s no wonder the Santa Clara Valley was once known for its acres of fruit orchards—our mild Mediterranean climate allows us to grow a dazzling variety of tree fruit!

This course stresses how sustainable gardening practices such as efficient watering methods, integrated pest management and use of organic fertilizers and soil amendments apply to establishing and growing pome fruits (including apples & pears), and stone fruits (including apricots, cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums, and pluots.)
