CHEER BEARS (4 to 5 years) Introduction and Beginning Cheerleading MONDAYS AT 3:00pm
JUNIOR CHEER (6 to 10 years) Beginning and Intermediate Cheerleading MONDAYS AT 5:15pm
A FUN class in Non-Competitive Cheerleading. Students will learn all the fundamentals and skills of cheerleading. Cheerleading lessons focus on proper technique, cheer positions, cheer jumps, chants, cheers and pompom dance routines. All cheerleaders will learn beginning to intermediate Tumbling Gymnastics and an Intro. to Stunting will be taught to 6 years and up . Fun pompom and jazz dance routines. Unique seasonal Cheers and Chants for Fall and Spring sports. Appropriate and fun pop and dance music are used for jazz dance and pompom routines. Professional 6-inch metallic gold show pompons are used in class and performance.
*Pompoms must be purchased in class from Instructor.
Awards and certificates will be awarded at the end of the session to validate each child's effort. Performance opportunities in the Spring! Careful attention to technique, proper stretching,warm-up and above all safety is stressed in each class. Safety guidelines of the U.S.A.G. (USA Gymnastics) and the A.A.C.C.A. (American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators) are followed for all tumbling, cheerleading stunting and gymnastics.
